Manager of CM Certifications 

Overview: The Manager of CM Certifications is a leadership role in the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, reporting to the Senior Manager of Certifications. This role is responsible for spearheading the development and sustainment of LMLA certification offerings, with a primary focus on providing fellow members with an accessible and inclusive means to professionally pursue the CM Certification. 

Key Responsibilities 


  • Create an environment where members can make consistent investments into their future  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accredited certification entities to provide members with an affordable and accessible certification opportunity  
  • Enable information sessions for LMLA members about the CM Certification  
  • Select opportunities for Self-study events and ensure each session has adequate LMLA support and facilitation 
  • Address member and leadership feedback to continuously improve CM Certification programs 

Requirements 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Highly passionate about leadership and personal development  
  • Able to hold peers accountable in a constructive manner  
  • Results-driven, even if that means having difficult conversations to realign performance  
  • Well-organized, resourceful, and efficient, with the ability to see opportunities and devise solutions 

Time Commitment:  

  • Average 5 hours per week, with increased hours during program planning and execution  
  • Attend regular meetings with the Senior Manager of Certifications and other LMLA leaders to discuss program planning and progress 
  • Participate in program setup, execution, and evaluation as needed 

Reporting Structure 

The Manager of CM Certifications will report to the Senior Manager of Certifications and will work closely with other LMLA leaders to develop and execute program initiatives. 

Support and Resources 

The Manager of CM Certifications will have access to support and resources from the Senior Manager of Certifications, including guidance on event planning and execution, as well as access to budget and resources to support program initiatives.
