Manager of Business Training Experts


The Manager of Business Training Experts is a leadership role in the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association 

reporting to the Senior Manager of Skills Development. Leadership responsibilities include interacting with 

Lockheed Martin executives or Subject Matter Experts to obtain sponsors for Business Training Experts events,

facilitating Business Training Experts events, and selecting subjects that will foster the professional development 

of event attendees. Business Training Experts is a pilot program in 2019, so this position will also support Soft 

Skills events. 


Manager of Business Training Experts is responsible for: 

• Creating an environment where members can make consistent investments into their future.

• Creating and maintaining relationships with LM Aero executives and SMEs who are interested in 

sponsoring events. 

• Ensuring Business Training Experts events foster positive brand image and deliver value to members 

and executives. 

• Working with organization to align events to LMLA needs, and addressing feedback received.

• Identifying opportunities and presenting plans to pursue them.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Highly passionate about leadership and personal development.

• Experience training and inspiring people, ability to instill a sense of purpose and motivation.

• Passionate about meeting new people and creating effective relationships that expand LMLA efforts.

• Self-motivated to make the LMLA membership a priority.
